The topics covered will include:

Lecture 1: The Biology of Endodontic Pathologies

  • Learn about the different types of endodontic pathologies and how they develop.
  • Understand the role of bacteria in endodontic disease.
  • Identify the signs and symptoms of endodontic pain.

Lecture 2: Instrumentation and Disinfection

  • Learn about the different instruments and techniques used in endodontic instrumentation.
  • Understand the importance of proper disinfection to prevent infection.

Lecture 3: Preventing Infection

  • Learn how to prevent infection during and after endodontic treatment.
  • Understand the importance of endodontic obturation and restoration.

Workshop 1:

  • Learn how to set up and use the Dental Operating Microscope.
  • Learn how to use the electronic apex locator for working length determination.

Workshop 2:

  • Learn how to use NiTi instrumentation for cleaning and shaping.

Workshop 3:

  • Learn how to use warm condensation techniques and how tricalcium silicates can be used for efficient and effective endodontic obturation.

This lecture series will provide general dentists with the knowledge and skills they need to provide their patients with the best possible care for endodontic problems.

By understanding the biology of endodontic pathologies, dentists can better diagnose and treat these conditions.

By mastering the techniques of instrumentation and disinfection, dentists can prevent infection and ensure the success of endodontic treatment. And by managing and preventing infection, dentists can provide their patients with a comfortable and successful experience.

In addition to the lectures, this course will also include hands-on practice sessions where dentists can learn how to perform the different techniques and procedures. This will give them the confidence they need to provide their patients with the best possible care for endodontic problems.
